Working Hours
In government bodies: 7.30 A.M—2.30 P.M each week day with Thursday and Friday as weekend. In banks and private sector:8.00 A.M to 12.00 A.M and 4.00 P.M to 7.00 P.M except Thursday evenings their weekend is Friday. In Ramadan, working hours are 10.00A.M-3.00 P.M.

Official holidays
Following the Islam line, Friday is Saudi Official weekend, in addition to official holidays, two first of which is lesser bairam and the second is greater bairam during pilgrimage season where pilgrims come from all over the world to perform their pilgrimage duties in Makkah and visit the Holy Mosque in Medina.

National Day
In commemoration of the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a single entity and cohesive powerful state by the leadership of late King Abdul Aziz Al Saud in 1932, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates its annual national day on the 23rd of September, the day on which the unification of the country under the name of "Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" was officially announced.

Monarchy regime is the one adopted in the Kingdom whose constitution is based on the Holy Koran. Cabinet and Shura council and the King constitute the executive and legislative authority of the State. There are twenty ministries in addition to several government authorities and agencies taking part in building and developing the nation. Based on, and complying with, the Islamic legislation sources, Shura council consists of a president and 60 members. Its term is 4 Hegirian years and its permanent seat is Riyadh, the capital.
The King of Saudi Arabia is the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud. The Crown Prince is H.R.H. Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud who also occupies the office of vice Prime Minister and Head of National Guard. The Second vice Prime Minister is H.R.H. Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud who also occupies the post of Minister of Defense, Aviation and Inspector General.
